It interests me to learn “what lights people up.” Stepping into your life and work with enthusiasm and wholeheartedness enlivens others and makes the world a better place.
Perfection is an absolute bore. My friend Kaaren Dannenman taught me that it is a good practice to intentionally weave a flaw into our work because perfection belongs to the Creator.
Knowing who you are – the good, the great, the bad, the ugly – and accepting the whole enchilada is enough for us to do great things in a way that is unique to us.
Connection matters above all else. Whether the conversation is deep and meaningful or about the mundane matters naught if the connection is authentic and appreciated.
We all have a contribution to make so we have no excuses not to figure out what our part of the game of life.
Art is one way into this adventure of self-expression. Creativity is nurtured by play and letting go of restrictions in body and mind. I often think of making art as a metaphor that can hold a mirror up to habitual patterns in how we approach anything new.
